Elizabeth has extensive experience working with children, and adults in various settings.
She has variety of experience working with adults and children with disabilities and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor as well as a clinical licensed mental health therapist.
She provides supervision and consultation in play therapy to mental health professionals as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor and AAMFT Approved Supervisor. in the State of Hawaii.
She has presented at conferences on topics such as Neurobiology and Play Therapy, Attachment, Trauma and Play based Interventions, Play Therapy with Sexually abused children, and Play Therapy in the Schools and Sandplay therapy.
Elizabeth has supervised master’s level students as practicum students for over 15 years for local universities, including serving as an adjunct professor at Argosy University from 2015 to 2019 in the Marriage and Family Therapy department as well as taught the “Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescent’s” and “Practicum Seminar” courses in Marriage Family Therapy.
